KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Passengers either arriving or departing from the Kalamazoo-Battle Creek International Airport can now get tested for COVID-19 thanks to a new partnership announced Monday.
The partnership is between the airport and OptiMed Health Partners. The tests are open to both passengers and residents alike, according to airport officials.
In a released statement, officials noted that private testing is located near the baggage claim and car rental stations with plenty of space for social distancing.

Testing will be held weekdays 5:30 am to 11:00 p.m.

Walk-in appointments are available, with additional options for appointments to be made in advance. No referrals are required.
Free tests are available with results confirmed within 24-48 hours. Rapid antigen tests, which produce results in about 15 minutes, would also be available for $100.
Staff are also asking that residents who are sick or have COVID-19 symptoms not visit the airport.
