PORTAGE MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Pfizer researchers say they have learned that their COVID-19 Vaccine can be stored at temperatures just below zero for up to two weeks without losing its potency.
They say the use of extremely cold freezers is only required for extended storage of the drug.
That means the typical freezer found in most pharmacies could be used to keep the drug available for short periods.
It makes the drug more versatile, particularly in rural areas where super-freezers are not available.
