UNDATED -- There has been another spike in gas prices. ..Once again an interruption in the chain of production from Oil fields to refineries to gas pump has left area motorists paying thru the nose for gasoline.
Prices jumped to well over $4 a gallon yesterday, to as much as $4.19. A leak in a pipeline between Canadian oil wells and Midwestern refineries shut off the supply of crude, choking off production.
Patrick DeHaan at Gasbuddy.com says it should be temporary, but of course the prices always seem to come down a lot slower than they go up.
