SOUTHFIELD, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The final debate in Michigan’s U.S. Senate race brought Democrat Abdul El-Sayed and Republican Mike Rogers to Southfield Wednesday night.
Rogers, a former Congressman, defended the actions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, while El-Sayed criticized the tactics employed by ICE.
On healthcare, El-Sayed said Rogers is too closely aligned with the pharmaceutical industry and Rogers says El-Sayed’s proposal to have Medicare for all is too expensive.
The two were sharply critical of each other as in-person early voting in Michigan gets underway Saturday and runs until November 1st.
