MT. PLEASANT, MI (WTVB)- Central Michigan University will offer face-to-face classes during the fall 2020 semester.
CMU President Bob Davies says CMU’s Emergency Management work group will coordinate with local and state health officials to finalize a strategic plan for returning to campus. CMU will make modifications to campus life and courses to maintain social distancing.
According to Davis, the Office of Residence Life will reduce the number of students in residence halls. They will also establish areas to isolate and quarantine those who exhibit COVID-19 symptoms. Campus Dining and on-campus retail will also work to adapt best practices for food service safety,
Davies says facility and maintenance teams will also use new practices for cleaning and disinfecting campus.
