KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, officials with Miller Auditorium at Western Michigan University (WMU) have announced two separate rescheduled and canceled shows.
The Blue Man Group will now be performing at the auditorium from January 8-10 in 2021. Officials say current ticket holders should hang on to their tickets, as they will be good for the same seats at the same day/time/performance in January.
Those unable to attend the new date can exchange tickets for a different Blue Man Group performance. These performances were originally scheduled for May 1-3.
Meanwhile, all performances for the play CATS have been canceled. Those who already purchased a ticket for the show don’t need to take any action at this time. Customers will be automatically refunded in the coming weeks to each original payment method.
Subscribers of Zhang Financial Broadway in West Michigan will be contacted by a member of the Miller Auditorium team this week. If subscribers are unable to be reached, tickets will be placed in the subscriber account and may be used towards tickets for next season. Alternatively, a refund can be issued when staff returns to the office.
Ticket holders can also turn tickets back in as a tax-deductible donation in support of Miller Auditorium.
To donate the value of purchased tickets, or for any other inquiries, customers can contact Miller Auditorium staff via email at ma-comments@wmich.edu. Staff will respond within 24 hours. The Auditorium is unable to take phone calls at this time.
