PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Portage Arts Committee is hosting an open house on Friday, May 30 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Portage Parks & Recreation at 320 Library Lane for artists.
It’s called “Artists Meeting Artists II” and the intention is to get hundreds of talented performing, visual, and literary artists in the area together to be acquainted.
The networking event is meant to help people meet other southwestern Michigan artists and develop ways to share the arts with the community, discover new opportunities, help develop future workshops and events, and share ideas about how the city of Portage can expand the arts.
The open house is free and open to the public without any registration needed.
