CASS COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 49-year-old man from Cass County is jailed in Elkhart County, Indiana after Michigan and Indiana narcotics detectives arrested him last week.
Michigan State Police say the suspect was stopped by Elkhart County’s Intelligence and Covert Enforcement Team detectives in Indiana and they found a half-pound of crystal methamphetamine, a loaded revolver, and several thousand dollars in the vehicle.
Detectives from the Southwest Enforcement Team in Michigan and ICE served a search warrant at his home in Cass County and found more than a pound of crystal meth. The meth was several colors: clear, purple, pink, and tan.
They also found his wife and she will also be facing charges. The man is being charged first in Indiana and will also be charged in Michigan.
