MATTAWAN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Mattawan Consolidated School district voters are being asked in the May 7 election to approve two bond proposals that will not increase the current millage rate.
Superintendent Randy Fleenor says the bonds total $110-million, with one for $92-million to be used for safety, academic building improvements, and athletic fields.
The other bond would add a pool to the district, as Fleenor says they have to look elsewhere for home space for their swim and dive team.
