BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Battle Creek Police say a 32-year-old man is in stable condition following an apparent home invasion and stabbing incident in the first block of Richards Place in the early morning hours of Saturday.
Police were called shortly after 1:30 a.m.. They found a man with an apparent stab wound to the right side of his chest.
Other officers found a 41-year-old man inside the home. He told officers that while he was inside, his 32-year-old neighbor came onto his front porch and began yelling.
Eventually, the neighbor went inside the home where an altercation took place.
The 32-year-old neighbor was stabbed once and was transported to a local hospital. Battle Creek Police are still investigating this incident.
