KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Schools will hold dozens of meetings with parents and community members over the next month as they begin to develop a new strategic plan for the district.
Superintendent Darrin Slade calls them SWOT sessions to identify the strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities the district needs to consider in coming up with the plan.
He plans to attend every one of them.
He says a meeting will be held at each school building over the next couple of months and separate sessions will be held for anyone from the community, who has ideas.
The strategic plan will identify their goals and objectives for the next several years and establish ways to achieve those goals.
A full list of the meetings has just been released and is available at the district’s website.
