TOLEDO, OH (WKZO AM/FM) – The Western Michigan University men’s basketball team had five different players score in double-figures in an 88-63 loss at Toledo Tuesday.
Titus Wright went 6-for-10 from the field for 12 points to lead the five Western Michigan players in double-figures. Jefferson De La Cruz Monegro and JaVaughn Hannah netted 11 points apiece, while Anthony Crump and Seth Hubbard each tallied 10 points for the Broncos (8-13, 5-4 MAC).
Crump paced the Brown and Gold on the glass with eight rebounds, and De La Cruz Monegro notched a game-high six assists.
Western Michigan returns to Kalamazoo Saturday afternoon as it welcomes Ball State to University Arena. Tip between the Broncos and the Cardinals is slated for 1:00 p.m.
