CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Calhoun County Public Health Department has introduced an online scheduling tool for flu shot appointments.
Officials say the new online scheduler is designed to streamline the process. Residents can pre-register their information and schedule a time slot from the comfort of their homes.
The department is now offering online scheduling of appointments to take place on Thursdays and Fridays during the month of October at both Battle Creek and Albion clinics.
While the Health Department staff encourage scheduling flu shot appointments, both the Albion and Battle Creek clinics will accept walk-in appointments. When you get your flu shot, you’re being asked to check on the availability of getting your COVID-19 vaccine.
Getting a flu shot is considered a crucial step in safeguarding public health, particularly in light of the ongoing challenges posed by RSV and COVID-19.
Influenza and COVID-19 can present similar symptoms.
