PAVILION TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in the 5000 block of East R Avenue in Pavilion Township on Friday.
Deputies were called to the scene just after 11 p.m. and say two people were taken to Borgess Hospital with shooting injuries.
It was at a large party and deputies say the shooting happened when people were trying to prevent a fight from starting.
The shooting suspect is not yet known, and the investigation is ongoing.
