PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The annual Portage Parks and Recreation Fall Festival will be happening this Sunday at the Celery Flats Historical Area.
During the Fall Festival, historic buildings will be open for tours along with historical demonstrations such as rope making, broom making, quilt making,
glass blowing, pottery, wheat weaving, and blacksmithing. Joy Journey Farms will be on-site with a collection of farm animals, including Roscoe the camel.
Horse-drawn carriage rides will run every 30 minutes from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. from the Celery Flats Historical Area to the Portage Farmers Market at City Hall.
Music will be provided by The Crescendo Fiddlers from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and Megan Dooley from 12:00-2:00 p.m.

Parking will be available at Celery Flats auxiliary and grass lots, City Hall, Portage Zhang Senior Center, and Portage Community Center.
