LANSING, MI — Mid-Michigan is about to get hit with another winter storm to end the work week. Wet, heavy snow will fall Friday between 1:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. with over a foot possible in some parts of southern Michigan along the state line.
Lansing is in the 4-6 inch zone. Strong winds will likely cause blowing and drifting of snow. Travel will be impacted due to the storm, and power outage are possible.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for all of mid-Michigan beginning at noon Friday through 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Computer models vary in determining the severity of the storm right now. Visit the website for further updates throughout the day.
