Red Wings have the week off due to the All Star Break

DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings are getting the week off for the All-Star Break.

Detroit returns next Tuesday when it hosts the Edmonton Oilers to open up a three-game homestand.  Calgary and Vancouver will also visit Detroit next week.

The Red Wings spilt their recent two-game road trip after Friday’s 2-0 loss to the Islanders in New York.

Detroit is sixth in the Atlantic Division with just 50 points.
