KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Crews from 10 local fire departments joined forces to put out a fire at a business east of Kalamazoo Monday morning, December 14.
It happened at Landscape Forms on Lawndale Avenue in Comstock Township where crews discovered flames coming from the roof.
Authorities say the Comstock department received assistance from Galesburg/Charleston, Kalamazoo Township, Cooper, Richland, Ross/Augusta, Pavillion, Climax Fire Departments along with Portage Public Safety, and Kalamazoo Public Safety.
According to Comstock Fire and Rescue, the fire was sparked by machinery ductwork.
There were no injuries during the incident, and the fire was under control around 10 a.m.
