LANSING, MI — Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Republican challenger Tudor Dixon have agreed to a second televised debate before the November election. The two had already agreed to a debate in Grand Rapids hosted by WOOD-TV on October 13 and have now agreed to take part in the second one October 25 at Oakland University in Rochester.
The second debate will be hosted by WXYZ-TV, WXMI-TV, and WSYM-TV.
Whitmer is leading Dixon by as many as 17 points in the most recent verified polling.
