LANSING, MI — Self-proclaimed quality guru Perry Johnson is now suing the state in federal court in Grand Rapids to try to get on the August primary ballot in the race for governor.
The Michigan Supreme Court has already rejected his and two other Republicans’ cases as the Bureau of Elections ruled five GOP hopefuls turned in too many fraudulent signatures.
Johnson wants the court to make the state stop printing ballots until the courts resolve the issue and appeals have been exhausted.
