Red Wings get shut-out by Toronto, close out the season Friday night

TORONTO, ON (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings lost to the Maple Leafs 3-0 in Toronto last night.

Goalie Alex Nedeljkovic turned aside 33 shots in the loss.

Auston Matthews scored twice for Toronto to give him 60 goals for the season, becoming the first American born player to accomplish that feat.

Detroit wraps up the season against the Devils in New Jersey Friday.
