BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Plans for the 40th anniversary of Battle Creek’s Prayer Breakfast at Kellogg Arena on May 10 have been announced.
Local educator Nicole Smith will deliver the “This I Believe” Testimonial during the event which will be held that morning from 7:25 a.m. to 9:00 a.m..
Tickets are $15 and may be purchased online at www.bcprayerbreakfast.org, or at the Battle Creek Community Foundation at 32 West Michigan Avenue.
Sign language interpreters will be available for those who are deaf or hearing impaired.
Smith is an early childhood specialist at Community Action Agency, and directs the YES youth empowerment group at Kingdom Builders Worldwide.
She is married to Bishop Tino Smith, the pastor at Kingdom Builders Worldwide.
Nicole Smith will precede the keynote speaker, Anthony Evans, an inspirational songwriter, worship leader and author.
Breakfast goers may park free in the Kellogg Arena parking structure, and in several parking lots within two blocks of the arena.
All who attend the Prayer Breakfast (including those who park in the parking structure) will be directed to use the exterior entrance to Kellogg Arena, from Hamblin Avenue. Kellogg Arena will not be accessible from the previous internal entrances inside McCamly Place.
