CENTREVILLE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners is looking to allocate $1 million of it’s American Rescue Plan Act funds to support community projects.
They are setting up an online survey to get input from county residents and business owners on how and where the funds could be used. Information gathered will assist in the development of an application process for local governments and non-profits seeking funding support.
According to a release from the St. Joseph County Administrator’s Office, the one-time funding is being provided by the federal government to address health and economic impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, with fund allocations to be determined and communicated to the public by the county at a future date.
The survey is available now on the county’s website at http://stjosephcountymi.org/survey
The survey will be open until Friday, May 20.
St. Joseph County encourages residents and businesses owners to take the survey and share the survey link.
