THREE RIVERS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A fatal car-pedestrian accident in Three Rivers which took place Monday evening is being investigated by police.
Three Rivers Police say they and the Three Rivers Fire Department were dispatched to the intersection of North Main Street and Cushman at 5:37 p.m.
Police say the pedestrian, a 39 year old Three Rivers resident, was crossing North Main when they were struck by a southbound vehicle.
The pedestrian was treated at the scene by paramedics but succumbed to injuries.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
The Three Rivers Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office and White Pigeon Police Department.
