KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Kalamazoo man accused in a murder case has been extradited from Oregon and will face charges, according to an update from MLive Monday.
Previously, police were investigating the death of 35-year-old Solomon LeFlore, who was found dead in his home on Hidden Hills Drive in early September. He had been shot multiple times, and his roommate was identified as a suspect.
The roommate, later identified as 23-year-old Ezra Howe, was apprehended in Oregon on September 10.
According to the update Monday, Howe was extradited to Michigan on November 16 and was arraigned on November 17.
He now faces one charge of open felony murder and one charge of felony firearm.
Howe remains in custody at this time and he will be back in court next month.
