CANYON CITY, OR (WKZO AM/FM) — UPDATE: Police have identified the man accused in the murder of Kalamazoo man Solomon LeFlore, according to an update by MLive Tuesday.
Previously, police were investigating 35-year-old LeFlore’s death, who was found dead in his home in early September. He had been shot multiple times, and his roommate was identified as a suspect.
Police later apprehended the suspect in Oregon on September 10. He has been identified as 23-year-old Ezra Howe, who remains lodged at the Grant County Jail.
Howe will face an extradition hearing on September 27.

A man accused of a Kalamazoo murder earlier this month has been located and arrested in Oregon.
It’s related to the death of 35-year-old Solomon LeFlore who was found dead at a home on Hidden Hills Dr. on September 4th. LeFlore had been shot multiple times. His roommate was identified as a suspect during investigations.
Officials say they learned that the suspect had traveled out of state and was likely headed to Oregon. Detectives traveled there to try and find him and eventually located him on a rural highway with the help of the Oregon State Police.
The suspect, whose name is being withheld, faces murder and weapons charges and remains in jail in Canyon City, Oregon ahead of extradition back to Michigan.
