BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Calhoun County Public Health Department is urging those who will soon become eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination to check their vaccine web page frequently as they are in the process of setting up a pre-registration link.
Starting on this Monday, residents who are 50 years or older with a pre-existing condition or disability and caregiver family members and guardians who care for children with special health care needs will be eligible to get vaccinated. Beginning March 22, vaccine eligibility will again expand to include all Michigander’s 50 and older.
Access to vaccine information can be found at http://calhouncountymi.gov/covidvaccine.
The Health Department asks individuals 50 years or older with or without pre-existing conditions or disabilities to avoid calling to schedule your vaccine and, again, urge individuals in this group to continue watching the website for the online registration system. They are asking for your patience as they work through the process.
