KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) and the City of Kalamazoo are inviting residents to join a community conversation to discuss a plan to address mobile nuisance parties in 2021 and beyond.
The town hall, which will occur on Zoom, is scheduled for Monday, February 22, from 6 – 7:30 p.m.
“Mobile nuisance parties have been a problem for far too long,” KDPS Chief Vernon L. Coakley, Jr. said in a statement. “We are hosting this town hall discussion to have an open dialogue with our community about plans for addressing them in 2021 and into the future.”
Representatives from the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Public Services will provide updates during the town hall.
Residents will also have the opportunity to provide feedback on the City’s plan for addressing these situations going forward.
