LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Monday, Attorney General Dana Nessel’s office released its 2020 Dangerous Toys guide.
According to Nessel’s Office, every three minutes, a child is treated in a U.S. emergency room for a toy-related injury. Because of this risk, Nessel’s office says it is important to share tips on how to make informed decisions when shopping for loved ones this holiday season.
Using online resources, parents can see if any products have had a recent recall issued. The guide also provides the steps that can be taken to ensure the product is repaired, replaced or refunded.
A complete list of recalled products can be found on the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website.
Consumers who have any questions about the information in this guide or a general consumer complaint can contact the Consumer Protection team by calling 877-765-8388 or by filing a complaint online.
The guide can be viewed at this link.
