LANSING, MI (WJXQ) – A portrait of former Michigan Governor Rick Snyder is now hanging in the state Capitol in downtown Lansing.
The new portrait was hung Sunday with no fanfare due to COVID-19, and Snyder and his family stopped by Monday to see it. The portrait is set at his home on Gun Lake in west Michigan, breaking the tradition of the setting being indoors.
The Michigan State Capitol building is still open for daily tours. Visit here for more information: http://capitol.michigan.gov/Tours
