NEW YORK, May ‌8 (Reuters) – Jane Street reported ‌a big ⁠surge in ⁠trading profits during the first quarter, ⁠as ⁠the Wall Street market maker generated ‌net revenues of $16.1 ⁠billion, according to people ⁠familiar with ‌the ⁠matter.
