EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State University basketball added three players on National Signing Day. Jaden Akins from Farmington Hills, Pierre Brooks II from Detroit and Max Christie from Illinois have all committed to the Spartans program in 2021.
Akins is the number two ranked player in Michigan, Brooks is the top-ranked player in the state and Christie is number one player in Illinois.
University of Michigan basketball is expected to have six players join the team in 2021.
The recruits include tenth ranked point guard Frankie Collins, sixth ranked power forward Moussa Diabate and Caleb Houstan, the number two ranked power forward, number 12 ranked shooting guard Kobe Bufkin, Isaiah Barnes, ranked 21st as a small forward and 29th ranked power forward Will Tschetter.
