His friends say he was helping to pick up sticks in the yard when he walked away and neighbors say he was last seen walking westbound from Blackman Street on St. Joseph Street around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities say that around 5 p.m. Green asked to borrow a phone and called his family from a home at the corner of East James Street and Elizabeth Street in Lawrence.
On Monday, October 12, police released new photos of Green, which were taken from a commercial security camera on the afternoon that he went missing. Police say efforts to locate Green have been unsuccessful at this time.
Green is described by family as a very mild-mannered father with a mild form of Bell’s-Palsy giving him a slight speech impediment.
He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, khaki pants and a military style boonie hat.
He is 5’05” tall and weighs about 205 pounds. He has Green eyes and Brown hair.
