LAWRENCE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help locating a missing person.
45-year-old Jimmy Green from Parchment was visiting friends in Lawrence on Wednesday when he walked away without saying a word.
His friends say he was helping to pick up sticks in the yard when he walked away and neighbors say he was last seen walking westbound from Blackman Street on St. Joseph Street around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities say that around 5 p.m. Green asked to borrow a phone and called his family from a home at the corner of East James Street and Elizabeth Street in Lawrence, but no other details on his whereabouts have been released.
Green, who may use the last name of Doyle, is 5’5″, 205 pounds, and has green eyes, brown hair, a full goatee and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, khaki pants and a military style “Boonie” hat. Family members say Green has a mild form of Bell’s palsy giving him a slight speech impediment.
