COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Bell’s Brewery is putting a twist on a classic summertime beer.
This week the Kalamazoo area brewery will begin shipping its Mango Oberon for a limited time.
The American wheat ale brewed with mangoes has been available as a small release at the Eccentric Cafe in downtown Kalamazoo, but this is the first time the Mango Oberon will be available in stores as four packs.
Bell’s President and Founder Larry Bell stated, “We have heard from a lot of fans asking for something like this and the response to a small release here in Kalamazoo was incredible. Oberon season will be over before you know it, this is a perfect way to celebrate those last bit of summer.”
According to Bell’s website, other variations of Oberon have included Mango Habanero, Pineapple Jalapeno, Guava, Raspberry, and Cucumber Basil Oberon.
