KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A suspect has been charged with four counts of assault with intent to murder in the shooting death of a man in Kalamazoo last month.
Jamyre Thompson was denied bond and faces several other charges in the death of 53-year-old Mark Jackson of New Baltimore, who was visiting family at an Interfaith Homes apartment.
Jackson was shot by a stray bullet.
Thompson allegedly fired several shots at a vehicle and ran away from the scene, with one of the shots killing the victim.
