KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — There have been several new revelations in the Jason Dalton murder case in the last 24 hours.
Michigan State Police Lt. Dale Hinz told Fox News the 45-year-old has not confessed exactly, but he came close.
“He did take responsibility for taking lives,” Hinz said. “He’s been very matter-of-fact about the whole incident, almost emotionless.”
The youngest victim has also been named. Abigail Kopf, 14, remains on life support at Bronson Methodist Hospital. The name of the other survivor was revealed in court and in, erroneously, in charging documents.
The family had requested her name not be revealed. She was shot in front of three children at the Meadows Townhouses.
The woman underwent a second surgery on Monday and doctors now say she will survive.
