MIDDLEVILLE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Striking United Auto Workers union members at Bradford White in Middleville will vote this weekend on a new contract proposal.
The water heater manufacturer says they have given the workers their “best” and “final” contract offer after 62% of the UAW voted against the last proposed contract on Friday.
Over 1,300 union members have been on strike since mid-September and have picketed outside the company 24-7.
UAW Local 1002 bargaining chair Dan Snowden says they have made it clear that they are serious in their demands for what they want in the new deal.
