KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo County Prosecutor Jeff Getting says no charges will be filed in connection with a fight at the People’s Food Co-op last month.
He says police submitted the case to his office for review of possible charges against one person and says video of the fight shows that person was not the aggressor.
Getting says it, “appears to have been a mutual affray” and adds there is no reasonable likelihood of a conviction.
The fight followed several months of dispute over the governance of the co-op.
