JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A juvenile suspect has been arrested by Cass County Sheriff deputies after allegedly trying to break into a home and pointing a firearm at the officers.
It happened Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. when they responded to a report a masked and armed prowler in the area of Dailey Road and Pine Lake Street in Jefferson Township.
A deputy fired a shot at the suspect, who then dropped his firearm and tried to run away.
He also threatened deputies with knives before an officer used a Taser on him and took him into custody.
No one was hurt.
