KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to terminate Corporate Counsel Elizabeth White from her position during a meeting Wednesday night.
The motion was filed by Commissioner Stephanie Moore during the meeting.
White will be terminated from her position on Friday, Nov. 8th unless she submits a formal resignation herself by 5 p.m. on the same day.
The nine commissioners present at the meeting all voted in favor of the motion, although Commissioners Zac Bauer and John Gisler were not present at the time.
Commissioners declined to provide any information into the decision, saying that White is still currently an employee until Friday, or whenever she formally resigns.
White had previously been placed on paid administrative leave as of Thursday, Oct. 31st.
