IONIA, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – An inmate at the Bellamy Creek Correctional Facility in Ionia was found dead in his cell this week.
Michigan State Police say 36-year-old Kevin Kelly was killed and his cellmate is accused of the murder.
Kelly was serving a sentenced for aggravated stalking and his death is the second in less than five months where another inmate is accused of the crime.
40-year-old Joshua McGehee was found dead in his cell in March and inmate Michael Brewer is charged with open murder in that case.
Brewer will be arraigned September 17th.
