BENTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A person of interest in the case of a missing Benton Harbor woman is now in custody, but for unrelated charges.
On Monday, 38-year-old Willie Lark Jr. was arrested out of state while Benton Township Police continue their investigation into the disappearance of 30-year-old Jessica Gray.
On December 2nd authorities were called to Lark’s home on South Crystal Avenue north of Britain Avenue where a trail of blood was found near the doorway.
There they interviewed Lark’s relatives and found bullet casings and rounds of ammunition in the home.
Gray has been missing ever since and they believe she may have been shot at the home.
So far Lark is only facing charges unrelated to Gray’s disappearance.
