BENTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police are searching for a missing woman who family members say may have been shot during the past few days.
Relatives contacted Benton Township Police about the disappearance of 30-year-old Jessica Gray, who was last seen on Sunday evening.
Family members say that Gray may have been at an area home that police investigated for a possible shooting.
Officers were dispatched to a home on Crystal Avenue north of Britain Avenue after 1:00 PM on Monday when a trail of blood was found near the doorway. There they interviewed relatives of homeowner Willie Lark Jr., and found bullet casings and rounds of ammunition in the home.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to please contact Benton Township police detectives at 269-925-1135.
