CASS COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — Cass County authorities say a 41-year-old woman is behind bars after a drug bust near Cassopolis.
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team and police were called to the 66,000 block of Kessington Street on Tuesday after reports of a suspicious van in the area.
The woman said she was waiting to pick up a man living nearby, but after further investigations authorities found meth and needles in the van.
The woman was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and driving without a license.
She is currently in the Cass County jail as she waits arraignment.
