BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Police are investigating another threat that was made against the Lakeview School District in Battle Creek.
The second threat comes days after a threat was made through the district’s website late Tuesday. Officials at the school canceled classes Wednesday in response to that threat.
A spokesperson with the city of Battle Creek said the threat was not specific and also said there’s no evidence indicating staff or students are in danger.
“Lakeview is following emergency procedures and moving students to a safe location,” according to a press release. “Staff are working with parents to allow for student pickup.”
