KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Tracie Moored has been appointed as the Kalamazoo Township superintendent. The board of trustees appointed her at a special meeting Wednesday and gave her a five-year contract.
Moored brings over 25 years of leadership, finance, and human resources experience to the job and served for over a decade in Kalamazoo County government as county administrator and county controller.
She most recently was the controller for the past two years for Western Michigan University.
Moored has a Master’s Degree in Strategic Management. A public open house to welcome her to the job will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 1 at the Kalamazoo Township Hall at 1720 Riverview Drive.
