VAN BUREN COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — I-94 near Mattawan became a parking lot Friday during the mid-day and traffic was slowed for hours near a construction zone after one tractor trailer slammed into the rear end of a second semi near the 64-mile marker.
Pictures show emergency crews working to remove the at-fault driver from the crushed cab of his truck, but no information on his condition has been released.
Other inattentive drivers also caused less serious wrecks forcing State Police to close the westbound lanes for a while.
