COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A road rage incident on I-69 in Branch County Saturday night led to the arrest of a woman, after Michigan State Police say she pointed a handgun.
Troopers say two vehicles were traveling north on I-69 in Branch County and passed each other several times. The suspect became angry to the level of pointing her handgun, which she legally possessed, at four persons in the other vehicle to scare them. No shots were fired.
Deputies from the Calhoun County Sheriffs Department stopped the vehicle at I-69 and Michigan Avenue in Marshall where Troopers took custody of the suspect. She was lodged at the Branch County Jail on four counts of felonious assault with a handgun.
