KALMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — We now have a clearer idea why Christopher Lockhart spent another weekend in jail after a series of scrapes with the law, and why a judge doubled his bond to $50,000 on Friday.
Lockhart is a person of interest in the disappearance of his wife, Theresa, who has been missing for over two months now.
Two weeks ago, he was arrested for cutting a neighbor’s cable TV and sabotaging their air conditioner. He was freed on bond with the condition that he stay away from the neighbor and not drink.
Last Monday he stopped on suspicion that he was driving drunk, a violation of his bond and fitted with a tether that monitors alcohol use.
On Saturday he was arrested for a violation resulting from the tether.
Lockhart managed to make bail on Tuesday and has since been released again. As he left the system, he was also fitted with a GPS bracelet that will permit authorities to track his movements.
